We are looking for an experienced chef to join our small kitchen team. You will help to devise a daily lunch menu and produce exceptional savoury goods that complement the Hart’s Bakery repertoire.


With a unique location at Temple Meads we are consistently busy with a large number of regular and new customers every day. As well as meeting the demand and quality required for our regular savoury products, we welcome new ideas and are continually looking to improve and expand our offering.


Sharing a kitchen space with our bakers and working alongside our front of house team, an ability to work well with others is essential.


With plenty of room for creative input, sociable hours and customer interaction this role would suit someone with at least 5 years’ experience of a restaurant or café kitchen looking for a new challenge.


There is also opportunity to be involved in some our events such as supper evenings, private bookings and workshops.

Hart’s Bakery is an independent bakery and café in a railway arch at Temple Meads Station. With bakery, kitchen, shop and café in one space, it is a fast paced and fun place to work. Started in 2012, we have grown steadily and are proud to be part of the flourishing food scene in Bristol. Specialising in sourdough and handmade baked goods, we also offer a range of savouries, lunch options and great coffee.
